# Frost

The original iPhone Duo-inspired effect. A live blur of your desktop, drawn in as you close the lid.

## Inside Frost

Your desktop stays in place as a soft blur deepens toward the upper edge. Inspired by the iPhone Duo transition.

### Find your setting

Open Adjust to tune intensity. Preview the result in the app before enabling the effect.

### On your Mac

Frost uses Screen Recording permission to blur a live view of your desktop. Enable it in macOS System Settings when the app asks. Desktop capture stays on your Mac.

## Bring it to your desktop.

- Get UnfoldMyMac and open Lid Effects.

- Choose Frost and try the preview.

- Tune the design in Adjust, then enable the effect. Automatic lid response requires a supported MacBook sensor.
